What's better than books and coffee? Nothing! That's why we have added a coffee shop and café: Jittery Joe’s at Righton Books. Yes, the legendary Athens coffee brand has finally arrived on St Simons Island, fulfilling the long-held wish of many.

We offer the full Jittery Joe’s menu of delicious coffee and espresso drinks, tea from the world-famous Harney & Sons, bagels, and a lovely assortment of delicious, locally baked pastry items. Jittery Joe’s also provides our very own house blend which we cleverly call “Right-On!”

All of the fabulous Jittery Joe's coffee flavors are also available to take home in cans and bags. We'll even grind the beans to your specifications. Better yet, order ahead and we will have your freshly ground coffee waiting for you to pick up. Or, order below and we will ship to you.

We are now offering Righton Rewards for our coffee customers. Buy ten drinks and get your next drink on us. You can check your Righton Rewards balance online here.

Seating is available inside and out, and many Righton Books events are now held in our lovely new space. Free WiFi is available. Additionally, we are happy to make the room or our courtyard available to local book clubs for monthly meetings.

About Jittery Joe's

Jittery Joe’s was founded in downtown Athens in 1994 next to the world famous 40 Watt Club. Over 25 years later, Joe’s has 18 cafes throughout Georgia.

“It was only a matter of time before Jittery Joe’s had a presence on St. Simons, and we are thrilled to find the ideal partner in Righton Books”, said Michael Ripps, President of Jittery Joe’s. “Dawg fans, residents, visitors and coffee lovers alike can now have a taste of Athens on the island”.
